5kg brown (11.23lbs), 73cm,  caught 5 Nov 2005 in Lake Rotorua, off the Ngongotaha Stream mouth. The tag showed that it was tagged at the Ngongotaha Hatchery trap in 2 Dec 2004 when it was 71cm and 7.5kgs. I year later, having spawned, it weighed 2.5kg lighter but was 2cm longer. There was only the remains of eggs on the stomach.

It was caught on a fly similar to the Lisa Simpson. Now called The Mary Simpson
